Chris Ware is one of the most innovative artists in modern comic books. His drawings touch us because they deal with human existence with great depth. The exhibition at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona reviews the work and artistic thinking of a central cartoonist and will be on view until November 9th.

Chris Ware: Drawing is Thinking invites us into the creative universe of a meticulous artisan, emotional artist, influenced by the origins of the comic book, ragtime music and architecture, who has brilliantly narrated human emotions, racism, consumerism and the effects of politics on everyday life.

Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona is located at Montalegre, 5 - 08001 in Barcelona, Spain. The CCCB is open Tuesdays trough Sundays and on bank holidays from 10 am and 8pm. The price of admission is 6 Euros, a reduced rate of 4 Euros is available for students, seniors and large groups among others. Visits on Sundays from 3pm to 8pm are free of charge and must be pre-booked (tickets are available from 11 am on the Wednesday prior).
