Sarah Glidden and Hillary Chute in conversation at BBF!

Panelists talked about the ability of graphic narratives to capture and describe events in history and war. Panelists included Hillary Chute, author of Disaster Drawn: Visual Witness, Comics, and Documentary Form, and Sarah Glidden, author of Rolling Blackouts: Dispatches from Turkey, Syria, and Iraq. The discussion was moderated by Alexander Danner, co-author of Comics: A Global History, 1968 to the Present.

“Graphic Nonfiction: Telling the Story with Words and Pictures” was a panel at the 2016 Boston Book Festival, held on Saturday, October 15, in the sanctuary of the Old South Church.
