If you can, why not hit the last stop on Geneviève Castrée’s tour for her brand new semi-autobio book SUSCEPTIBLE? The book of which the AV Club‘s Noel Murray says: “This book is about an artist trying to understand where she came from, and it’s at times astonishing in both its compactness and clarity…”
She’ll be in Seattle tomorrow night, ending the tour with a bang.
Because, you see, as well as the presentation and signing promised in the above poster, Geneviève and the good people of the Fantagraphics Bookstore have arranged a small exhibit of original pages from Susceptible. The exhibit will be up until April 6th, so perhaps a road trip is in order? And that’s not the only bonus of attending tomorrow night’s talk: there will also be a live musical performance by Ashley Eriksson of the band Lake, to follow the presentation. So make your way down to the Fantagraphics Bookstore and Gallery at 1201 S. Vale St. Tomorrow night, Saturday March 9th from 6 to 9 pm, y’all!
P.S. Did we mention this is a Stranger Recommended event?
