Did you know there is a musical interpretation of ACME Novelty Library 20: LINT? Well, not only is this the case, but on Friday, December 9th at the Centre Pompidou, you can hear a preview of it!

It seems like just Friday that we were talking about musical adaptations of comics.

Did you know there is a musical interpretation of ACME Novelty Library 20: LINT?  Well, not only is this the case, but on Friday, December 9th at the Centre Pompidou, you can hear a preview of it!

Author and director Benoit Peeters will be hosting a discussion between Chris Ware, Jacques Samson (specialist on Chris Ware and co-author of the amazing Chris Ware: la bande dessinee reinventee), and Walter Hus, who is composing the afore-mentioned chamber piece.

Before the discussion, they will also be screening a short documentary Benoit Peeters directed in 2004, entitled Chris Ware, un art de la memoire.

The craziest part? This is all free! Friday December 9th at the Centre Pompidou. There’s a signing at 5:30. The screening is at 6:30, and the discussion at 7.
